About EquiSmith

EquiSmith started, like a lot of horse stories do, with a sister. She grew up riding, started training, and now runs a successful barn alongside her husband. Her brother — now behind EquiSmith — spent enough years tagging along to pick up the rhythm of the horse world by osmosis. Mornings that start in the dark, long days that blur together, the smell of fresh shavings in the air, and the village it takes to keep everything moving — it's a rhythm that doesn't leave much room for extras.

It didn't take long to notice a pattern. Every barn has its own family-like feel and carries a name people are proud of — something they want to represent. But getting quality custom gear together has always been more trouble than it's worth, and even when it comes together, it rarely feels quite right. Someone usually steps up to organize it, orders get messy, and before long the whole thing fades out until next show season.

So we set things up a little differently. Barns pick the gear they want and everything else is handled — production, personalization, shipping. No orders to manage, no sizing mix-ups, no boxes stacked in the tack room. Running a barn is already enough. This makes one less thing to worry about.

We're small, we're paying attention, and we're building this alongside the barns and riders who use it. It's built to work the way barns actually run — not the other way around.
